Welcome to Club 305!
So what is Club 305, you might ask? It's an after school program for second through fifth grade students from Parsons Elementary. The program is on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school beginning in September and ending in May. The program focuses on character development through academic support, athletics, and fine arts education.
Purpose
Club 305 is dedicated to helping Parsons students achieve academic success as well as encourage the development of moral character. We desire to help families value education and intend to foster positive relationships between Club 305 families and Parsons Elementary School staff. We want to see Club 305 kids MOVING AHEAD in a positive direction in life.
Selection Process
Students are selected for Club 305 based on ISAT and other test information, classroom grades in reading and math, and Parsons' staff referrals. Parents/guardians must grant permission before a student joins Club 305.
Expectations
Members of Club 305 are expected to:
_attend all Club 305 sessions
_do their best work with a good attitude
_be responsible for their actions and their property
_treat others and their things with respect
_attend Family Night events
A student repeatedly having difficulty with these expectations may be dismissed from Club 305. All attempts are made to help students remain in the program once accepted.
Volunteers
The people who serve the children of Club 305 are volunteers. They give freely of their time in order to impact Parsons students. All volunteers must pass a national criminal background check before being accepted as volunteers in the program. There are opportunities available for qualified, caring teens and adults who would like to serve the students of Parsons.

Fees
None, zip, zilch, nada. Because of the gifts of the people of First, there is NO COST to the students who participate in Club 305.
