Welcome to F4!
What is F4, you ask? Well, F4 is a ministry for elementary kids first through fifth grades… we focus on building faith, making friendships, having fun, all at First!
The safety of our kids is very important to us so be sure to check out our Safety Policy.
Now, on to the ministry stuff!
What to Expect on Sundays [first through fifth grades | 9:30a or 10:50a on Sundays] Once your kids step into the F4 space, they're not gonna wanna leave! There are TONS of games and activities... everything from a dodgeball room to Wii. From there, we either do a large group activity or break the kids into age-specific groups with adult leaders (fourth and fifth graders also break into gender-specific groups).
During large group time, we have a high-impact praise & worship experience, along with a powerful lesson straight from the Bible. During small group time, the kids experience a multi-sensory activity to cement the day's lesson. We proudly use 252 Basics curriculum from the ReThink Group.
In the F4 space, we have a Snack Shack where your child can get one bottle of water and one snack while visiting with us. (We'll even give you a Snack Shack Buck to use!) Regular F4 fanatics can buy a snack and water for $1 or earn a Snack Shack Buck in the small group setting.
Kids usually want to stay and play until a parent comes to pick them up. If your child is a first grader, we ask that you come pick them up after service. If your child is second through fifth grades, they’re welcome to leave the F4 area (with your permission!) to meet you in the lobby.
What to Expect on Wednesday Night Live! [first through fifth grades | 6:30p on Wednesdays with programming] Wednesdays are very similar to Sundays. We still have TONS of games and activities... everything from a dodgeball room to Wii. The only differences are that there are more group games and the small groups are multi-age.
During large group time, we have a high-impact praise & worship experience along with devotional and memory verses from the Bible. During small group time, the kids participate in lively discussion about the topic and spend time in prayer.

Special Events In addition to our power-packed schedule, we also do special events from time to time. These things include:
_Family Faith Events (offered per grade once a year): Family Faith Events provide the opportunity for families to spend some time focused on one particular element of faith. Activities are designed to equip parents with experience and tools to aide the spiritual growth of their children when at home. Each family leaves with a special gift related to the faith topic.
_Salvation Message (offered twice yearly, fall and spring): A parent/guardian must attend with a child in grades two through five at these salvation message presentations. Material is provided so that the family can talk it through at home providing the child with the opportunity to make Jesus his/her forever friend in the presence of a family member. Note: salvation information may be part of lessons throughout the year giving children whose families are not available the chance to make Jesus their forever friend.
_Baptismal Services (offered twice yearly, fall and spring): Kid-focused baptismal services are offered twice a year. These services are specifically centered on kids and are great celebratory events. Families have the option of baptism as part of Sunday morning services as well.
_Super Start Conference Super Start is a pre-teen conference sponsored by Christ in Youth (CIY). Fourth and fifth grade students and parents are invited to attend this yearly event presented at another church out of town. It is a great experience for kids (& adults!).
