| At First, we believe that serving is an essential part of your Christian walk. Jesus Christ said that He came to serve, not to be served, and called us to follow his example. Volunteering allows you to explore God's purpose for your life and helps you get connected to other people around here. And don't worry that you are stuck for life if you try out something you don't like... you can always try something else. We want you to find an opportunity that's meaningful to you. |

Throughout the year we offer one-time volunteering events called Servant Days where we partner with various organizations in Decatur. By networking with other organizations that are serving the needs of our community, we are able to help people whose lives we could not touch if we operated alone. Our next project will be this spring... details will be posted as soon as they are hashed out! |
